Tickets/QR Code

‍Your QR code for entry is included in your ticket!

You will need to present your QR code in order to be admitted to the festival. Without proof of this online purchase, you will be required to purchase new tickets onsite at Puptopia Festival. You will receive one wristband for each ticket you purchased.

This QR code represents your ENTIRE ORDER, not an individual ticket.

For example, if you purchased 3 tickets (1 for yourself + 2 extra for friends), you ONLY have one QR code for all 3 of your tickets. Upon check-in, you will receive all 3 wristbands AT ONCE for the tickets included in your order.

If your friends plan to arrive at Puptopia Festival separately from you, each wristband allows all-day in-and-out access from the festival, so you can easily meet up with them at the entrance and give them their wristbands.

Each ticket is valid for 1 human and up to two leashed pups!

It is valid exclusively for the date and location designated on your ticket. Each ticket expires at the close of the festival (5 p.m.)

Food and Drinks

A delicious assortment of food and beverages will be available for purchase in our K9 Lounge for both humans and dogs. If you plan to visit the bar, be sure to bring your ID.

Leash Policy

Puptopia Festival is a highly inclusive, pet-friendly event by design. However, safety of our attendees and their pets is of paramount importance. Therefore, the event producer reserves the right to refuse entry to any dog that it deems to be aggressive - either by breed, behavior or if not leashed.

All dogs must be on a leash at all times while at the festival. Leashes must be no longer than six feet in length and extend-a-leashes are not allowed. While Puptopia Festival will do its best to provide leashes for attendees who may not have one upon arriving at the festival, those who do not keep their dogs leashed while on the festival grounds may be asked to leave.

The event producer reserves the right to make the final determination of whether or not a dog is permitted at the festival.

Weather

Puptopia Festival is a rain or shine event. The event will go on unless the weather is so severe that it jeopardizes the safety of all attendees, pets, staff and vendors. If weather is severe, the event organizer may make the decision to cancel or postpone the event, in which case attendees will be notified as soon as possible.

Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately and prepare for all types of weather conditions. If it is raining, attendees should bring rain gear for themselves and their pets. If it is hot, attendees should bring plenty of water for themselves and their pets.

Puptopia Festival will have water on hand for pets scattered around the festival grounds, which will be refilled several times per hour throughout the day. However, it is the attendee's responsibility to ensure that their pet is adequately hydrated and does not overheat.

Alcohol - 21 and up ID Verification/Wristbands

The San Diego venue requires that all participants planning to drink alcohol at the Puptopia Festival be ID'd at the gate/registration/check-in. Please exercise patience and allow extra time for this to take place.

Bag Check

The San Diego venue requires that all Puptopia Festival participants have their bags checked at the gate/registration/check-in. This is a venue policy so please exercise patience and allow extra time for this to take place.

Security Check

The San Diego venue requires that all Puptopia Festival participants undergo a quick security check at the gate/registration/check-in. This is a venue policy so please exercise patience and allow extra time for this to take place.

How much are tickets?

Early-Bird tickets are $30 and valid for purchase through May 31, 2023.

Regular tickets are $35 and go on sale starting June 1, 2023.

Week-of ticket prices are $40.

Children 10 & under get in for free.

What does each ticket include?

Each ticket includes entry for 1 human and up to 2 leashed dogs.

What if I want to bring a friend?

Great! Each ticket is purchased separately, so just make sure to get an additional ticket for each of your friends!

Are there refunds or exchanges?

Unfortunately, there are no refunds, exchanges or exclusions.

Is my ticket good for just one festival?

Each ticket is valid for only the festival it is purchased for. For example, a ticket for the Austin Puptopia Festival can not be used again for the Dallas Puptopia Festival.

How does admission work?

Once you purchase your ticket online, you will receive an email receipt. This is proof of your ticket.

The week of the festival you will receive another email confirmation containing a unique QR code that must be scanned for admission into the festival. Your QR code represents your ENTIRE ORDER, not an individual ticket. Upon check-in, you will receive wristbands for each ticket included in your order.

When will I get my QR code for admission?

How do I get into Puptopia?

Just print your tickets with the QR code to show at the gate or show the QR code at the gate with your phone.

How many dogs can I bring?

For safety and space considerations, we allow a maximum of two dogs FREE/AT NO EXTRA CHARGE for every ticket holder. If you have more than two dogs you'd like to bring to Puptopia Festival, simply purchase an additional ticket for every two pups.

Does my dog need to be vaccinated or spayed/neutered?

Dogs coming to Puptopia Festival must be currently licensed with proof of Parvo and Rabies vaccinations. You do not need to bring proof with you; if an incident occurs, you must be able to produce proof in a reasonable amount of time. Puppies that are not fully vaccinated should not participate. Check with your veterinarian first. We strongly encourage all participants to follow each city's spay/neuter laws.

Does Puptopia Festival support a non-profit?

Puptopia Festival supports several non-profit organizations in every city we participate in.

Will there be food and drinks at the festival?

Are extend-a-leashes allowed?

For safety reasons, “extend-a-leashes” will NOT be allowed. Dogs must be kept on a regular leash at all times. Leashes should be no more than six feet in length while on the hiking trails.

•  Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed. No unauthorized solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, give-aways, samples, etc.

Is the event rain or shine?

Yes, all Puptopia Festivals are rain or shine. Even if the weather is inclement, the show will go on!

Puptopia Festival is 100% cashless

All ticket, merch and food and beverage purchases will be 100% cashless at Puptopia Festival. We will accept all major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express), as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

I bought tickets but I lost them, can I just show up without tickets?

We encourage all Puptopia Festival attendees to either print out a copy of their tickets or have their QR codes ready for quick and easy entry into the festival (via email, screenshot photo or Apple wallet). However, if you can not find your tickets or are unable to print them out, you may check in at registration with your name, email and ID used to purchase the tickets.

Do my dogs need to be on a leash?

Yes, all Puptopia Festival attendees will be REQUIRED to have their dog on a leash the entire time they are within the festival grounds, no exceptions. Leashes can only be released while dogs traverse the tunnel section of the Pupformance area.

What if I want to come but do not have a dog?

No problem! You don't need a dog to attend the festival. You will still need to purchase a regular ticket for entry.

If I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we do not give refunds. To transfer your ticket to a friend here.

Does the Spaw have a dog wash?

No, the Spaw does not include a dog wash.

Is the Spaw for humans as well?

The Spaw is just for your dog. This is where you can paint your fur friends nails, brush them, give them accessories and massages.
